Good Friday Appeal - Night Show

The 2016 Good Friday Appeal Night Show will broadcast live from Plenary at Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre from 7.00pm on Friday 25 March. You can be part of the fun in the live audience!

The fully-ticketed primetime concert is now on sale - see The X Factor winners Cyrus and Samantha Jade and country singer Adam Brand perform alongside comedic trio Tripod. Plus see behind the scenes of the iconic telethon, with appearances from some of Australia’s favourite stars including the hosts of Sunrise and stars of Home and Away and My Kitchen Rules.

Be part of the fun while supporting The Royal Children's Hospital - proceeds from ticket sales are donated to the Good Friday Appeal and last year the concert raised almost $40,000!

Arriving by taxi

Taxi drop off points are at 1 Convention Centre Place (for Convention Centre) or 2 Clarendon Street, South Wharf (for Exhibition Centre).

Taxis can be booked by contacting Silver Top Taxi (131 008) or Yellow Cabs (13 22 27).

Arriving by tram

Melbourne's tram network services the metropolitan inner-city area with 28 lines. Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC) is serviced by regular services departing every few minutes.

MCEC is stop 124a (Crown Casino / MCEC) for routes 96, 109 and 112 stop opposite the MCEC on Clarendon Street, South Wharf.

Tram numbers 48 and 70 stop at the end of Flinders Street. Walk towards the Yarra River and cross Seafarers Bridge.

Arriving by train

Melbourne’s metropolitan train network operates from the nearby Southern Cross station connecting to all parts of Melbourne.

Exit onto Spencer Street and take trams 96, 109 or 112 to stop 124a, which stops opposite the Exhibtion Centre entrance of MCEC.

Arriving by bus

Bus route 237 operates from Queen Victoria Market, via Southern Cross Station to Lorimer Street South Wharf from Monday to Friday. Lormier Street is approximately a five minute walk to MCEC. There is also a coach pick up/drop off point at Bay 1, Convention Centre Place (closest to DFO South Wharf).
