Children and Families - Frequently Asked Questions

We welcome people of all ages to experience MCEC. For the majority of events children under two years of age may be admitted without a ticket if they remain seated on the lap of a parent or guardian.

Children aged 2 years and older require a ticket to enter Plenary and Goldfields Theatre and must occupy their ticketed seat. Please note that some shows (especially those intended for children) will have a different age policy. Please see the specific event page and ticket conditions for further information.

When bringing children please consider the interests and enjoyment of everyone attending. Any person, regardless of age, interrupting the enjoyment of others may be asked to leave an event and the venue.
