Overlooking the Yarra River in the centre of Melbourne’s vibrant South Wharf, MCEC provides the perfect destination for every type of event from school concerts to sporting events and international music performances. With onsite accommodation, dining, ample parking, public transport and drop off points around the venue, getting to and from your event is absolutely effortless.

Promotional support

We want you to fill the house, and can assist with pre-event promotion through our onsite and digital channels. Across the venue there are several digital screens which we use to promote upcoming events. Your event will also be promoted through our website, social media and What’s On e-newsletter. We’ll also connect you with our tourism partners who will help promote your event to local and international audiences.

Merchandise stands, VIP Areas and Box Office

Your event is shaped by you every step of the way, which includes the set up your merchandise stand, VIP breakout areas and box office. The space is only limited by your imagination, and unlike other venues we don’t take any commissions on merchandise or ticket sales. You’re also able to choose your own ticketing provider.
