AusFitness Expo Is Coming! Where Fitness Meets Fun
By Bree Pagliuso|
If fitness is your thing, clear your weekend! On 29 -30 March, AusFitness Expo is taking over Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC) with more live competitions, bigger fitness challenges, and an expo floor packed with the latest in training gear, supplements, and performance tech.
The second you walk in, you’ll feel it. Music pumping, weights crashing, people pushing past their limits. The energy is nonstop. Interactive fitness zones, lifting platforms, and endurance challenges fill the floor, creating the ultimate space to test your strength, speed, and stamina against the best.
Jody Kolkka, Senior Marketing Manager at National Media, says this year’s event is the most immersive yet. "With nine live sporting competitions, world-class athletes, interactive training zones, and over 100 brands showcasing the newest products, this is the ultimate space to experience what’s next in fitness."
Jump in, challenge yourself, and see how you measure up.
What to expect?
Bigger competitions, tougher challenges, and an atmosphere unmatched.
Powerlifting, bodybuilding, and functional fitness battles will be live. Expect record-breaking lifts, high-energy showdowns, and plenty of inspiration from the best in the business. "We’ve built an expo that isn’t just about watching. It’s about jumping in," says Kolkka. "From lifting challenges to cutting-edge recovery tools, you’ll get hands-on with the best in fitness and performance."
Plus, the exciting new addition of Yohka, a 100-metre Olympic-style obstacle course, is making its world debut.
The expo floor will get you moving, whether that means testing new gear, jumping into a lifting challenge, or pushing yourself in a fitness competition.
Over 100 brands will be set up with the latest in supplements, recovery tools, and performance wear. With expo-only deals and free samples, it’s the best place to stock up and discover what’s next in fitness.
And, of course, there will be fitness heroes who are anything but average.
Jeff Seid, Chontel Duncan, Jaiden Laing, and Isaac Quaynor are just a few of the big names coming through for meet-and-greets, live workouts, and expert talks. This is your chance to connect with the best!
A city made for movement
"Melbourne is built for this. Running tracks packed at sunrise, gyms buzzing with energy, stadiums filled with fans. This city doesn’t just watch sport; it lives it. If you’re visiting Melbourne for the expo, make the most of the city’s fitness culture," says Kolkka.
Jody's advice for anyone coming in from out of state? "Start your morning with a run around The Tan, hit one of the city's top gyms or boutique studios for a workout, and if you need to recover, book an infrared sauna or ice bath. Then, head to MCEC and dive into our biggest festival yet."
"And MCEC is the perfect space to bring it all together," says Kolkka. "The location is unbeatable, easy to get to, and gives us the flexibility to build massive competition arenas, interactive zones, and exhibitor spaces that bring the fitness industry to life."
No excuses. Just action.
