From 22 to 26 November at Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC), PyCon AU will connect Python enthusiasts, professionals, and newcomers for 5 days of learning, collaboration, and inspiration.  

What's it all about?  

Python powers everything from web development and data analysis to AI and scientific research. The event brings together a diverse community—developers, educators, scientists, and more—to share their love for language.  

Whether you're a seasoned pro or just starting out, you'll find expert talks, hands-on coding sessions, and a welcoming community ready to inspire you. This is where the future of Python takes shape.  

What truly sets PyCon AU apart is its sense of community. As a volunteer-run, not-for-profit event, it remains focused on people and their shared passion, free from commercial interests. This is an event created by the community, for the community, and it’s all about keeping it accessible for everyone.

From miniconfs to major insights  

The event kicks off with specialist tracks on Friday, diving deep into topics like scientific computing, web development, and education.
