Victoria Summit 2021
The Victoria Summit 2021 is a unique opportunity to come together and create a shared, bold, compelling and aspirational vision for Victoria. If you are a thought-leader, strategic thinker and passionate about Victoria, this is the event for you.
The first of a two-part public forum, our Victoria Summit Vision Day is your opportunity to help define that vision. This is our opportunity to look forward and decide what Victoria should look like in the future and how we get there under three key themes: Business and Economy, Future of Work, and Community, Health and Wellbeing.
You will feel empowered to affect change and implement your thoughts and ideas within independently moderated breakout sessions featuring members of the Victoria Summit 2021 Reference Group and members of the Summit’s invitation-only Working Groups.
Held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, Victoria Summit Vision Day attendees will hear from Federal Treasurer Josh Frydenberg MP and Victorian Treasurer Tim Pallas MP on their ambitions for the state in the next 10, 20 and 30 years.
Anders Sörman-Nilsson, a global futurist and innovation strategist, will help set the scene prior to the breakout sessions and inspire participants to think big with an eye on global trends to make Victoria the best place to live, learn, work and operate a business.
Founder of the think tank and trend analysis firm Thinque, Sörman-Nilsson is an active member of TEDGlobal, having keynoted at TEDx in the United States and Australia, and has published three books on digital transformation and innovation.
To cap off the Summit, attendees will hear from some of Global Victoria’s international Trade Commissioners to get the latest updates on global trends and how Victoria can best position itself in the post-pandemic climate.
Guests will also be invited at attend networking drinks after the conclusion of the event, thanks to Global Victoria.
Don’t miss this exclusive opportunity to mix with the state’s best thought leaders, advocate for change and be a part of a history-making dialogue that will set Victoria up for the future long after the Summit concludes.
